I have a rich brunette hair color, what would be good highlight colors?

p.s. i have brown eyes...I have a rich brunette hair color, what would be good highlight colors?
It depends on if you want your look to whisper (be subtle), talk (definitely see it), or shout (bold and dramatic).

If you're up for subtle, a carmel, light chestnut or a warm red would be pretty. If you want your hair to ';talk';, I'd say go with a honey, toffee, or a neutral fawn highlight. If ';shouting'; is what you want to do, then definitely go with pale vanilla blonde highlights, with some wine auburn ';low';lights in with it. Gorgeous combination!!!I have a rich brunette hair color, what would be good highlight colors?
Although i'm not a fan of highlights, i'd say go with a caramel color.
There's a highlighting kit that turns the highlights of your hair a lighter shade of your true haircolor. Go to your nearest Sally Beauty Supply and ask for it. It's a brown or blue envelope the brand name is Kaleidocolors. You can do it yourself. Ask for that and a highlighting kit, you'll have PERFECT highlights I promise you! And you'll get them done for under $10.00
Try to stay away from ';Golden'; Tones of Highlight because they tend to turn yellow. Try an Ash Blonde shade.
Use Henna
What about a mahogany red (or some other type of red) or a golden color.
Strawberry blonde highlights
i think you should do thick chunky green.

I'M TOTALLY KIDDING. I THINK THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE MEDIUM (NOT SMALL) PARTLY THICK ASH OR CARAMEL HIGHLIGHTS. GO FOR THE LIGHT BROWN. (RICH BRUNETTE, LOL, GOOD ONE!)

P.S. STAY AWAY FROM BLONDE

PPS THE PERSON ABOVE ME DID AN EXCELLENT JOB! give them ten points!!!!!!!!!!
Golden blond.
a light brown/dark blonde/medium red.
You would want to do red highlights. You have brown hair and the under tones in brown hair is red. This would be very easy to do bacause you only need to go down 2 levels in hair color. also you can do light brown colors as well. Ex. Honey , caramel, Goodluck
I have the same hair color. stay away from blonde and go with an amber caramel color. it worked wonders for me! it came out better then I imagined.
