My hair is naturally black but I was thinking about getting highlights? What colors would work?

OK I am 12 years old so what color highlights I should get but nothing like red or purple because that is not allowed at my school. And I have very black hair so what colors would work?My hair is naturally black but I was thinking about getting highlights? What colors would work?

caramel,it will look pretty
A caramel color would be nice...I have dark brown hair and I usually put two different colors in my hair...I do caramel type color, and I also put some kind of a reddish color in (not bright) but an auburn color too...good luck...have the hair salon show you some samples.

but it make it really beautiful i suggest using brown's/caramel's they will really mix with the color %26amp; will look very good.
