What color highlight would look good with my hair color?

I'v got like a really dark brown/blackish colored hair, and i wanna highlight it... does anyone have any suggestions on colors that would look good, any suggestion matters... thanksWhat color highlight would look good with my hair color?
If you have dark brown, to almost black hair, then I suggest go with a chestnut brown. they will look like natural sun-kissed highlights, and everyone will love them, and compliment you on your hair, because you will look Absolutely amazing!!!

this would look nice. If you want something natural looking go with 1-2 shades lighter then you natural color. If not then do a blonde to make it stand out but not on the top of your hair probably some peekaboos. Also Doing it on the underlayers of your hair like the one in the picture won't cause ppl to see your roots like it would on the top layer. good luck!
Yeah bright pinks and purples in blocks not small highlights!

If you want lots of small thin highlights all over a caramel or toffee colour is nice!

i agree with the avatar:nothing really ,will look natural, since you will have to several shades lighter through a stripping of color from the shaft.so color will look fake no matter what.plus you will have very damaged hair.don麓t do it!
just please for the love of God, do NOT get blonde highlights. it looks real tacky. so get them a few shades lighter and nothing more, you want them to look natural i presume ? so just stay away from the BLOND.
I would suggest haveing 3 shades of brown that are all lighter then each other and then some blonde...It would look more natural.
i don't think you should highlight,, all the highlights i have seen in that hair color look fake and unnatural
