I think that dark chocolate brown lowlights would be good.
I have the same color of hair as you, and trust me..blonde really is not a good idea at all. i have two highlights and ones just a shade lighter than my hair, and not very noticable. but the other is like a caramel color. and it looks really good!
blonde highlights seem like they would look fine
